Interconnection

In terminology, interconnection is a connection between LibreSBC and other SIP Entities that not belonging to itself, e.g: LibreSBC and Carrier/Service Provider or LibreSBC and Core Component (PBX, Call Center). The interconnection must defined direction, the direction can be inbound or outbound. One interconnection can be set only 1 direction.





Above graph demonstrate the interconnection between LibreSBC and others, There are 4 interconnections even 3 entities are existing.

  • Entity A connect to LibreSBC by 2 links: first interconnection is for inbound and second one is for outbound.
  • Entity B connect to LibreSBC by 1 link is inbound interconnection.
  • Entity C connect to LibreSBC by 1 link is outbound interconnection.
