Describe the feature you'd like

It would be cool to have some way to 'group' multiple entries. A few examples:

  • Multi-page article that has no "View all" links
  • Old forum thread without "print-friendly" view
  • Blog post with multiple "parts"
  • Certain websites have "post" and "comments" on two different pages

PS. I'm not asking about doing this automatically. Just way to group them together. somehow.

Describe the benefits this would bring to existing Hoarder users

better handling of 'related' pages.

Can the goal of this request already be achieved via other means?

somehow tag them with some random string and search by tag?

Have you searched for an existing open/closed issue?

  • I have searched for existing issues and none cover my fundamental request

I'm curious, what do you think are the benefits from grouping them together? What would change when having different bookmarks as part of the same group?

I would say it's mostly cosmetic thing. Handle it as one big document (tag/lists, etc). Easier navigation between items.

Ideally I would like to consider it as one 'entry' from user point of view (word search returns whole thing even if just one part matches).

PS. I think that just "prev/next" links in Hoarder UI is good start
