As an electron app, I don't think it's wise to require usage of a password. This is an annoyance: I have to boot and log into my computer, then boot and login to Realm (typing out a password, it would be hard to enable Touch ID or equivalent.) It's also a bit inconsistent with other offerings: Mobile doesn't require a password. The future desktop "standalone apps" likely won't require a password.

Have a toggle on a per-ship basis in that ship's settings. If your most recently used ship does not require a password, boot directly into Realm.
