Compiler to use

Hi, cool stuff you created here! So I want to try and compile it myself, can you tell me what compiler/platform you used, it would help me.
Is there also a setting that you can rotate the screen on the LCD 180'

Sorry for the late response, it was compliled with the vendor's compiler ESP-IDF, Version 4.2. Newer versions will hopefully also work.
Screen rotation is not supported, as the horizontal setup matches the computer's resolution.
