Describe the issue you are experiencing

Migrating from rPi to VM on Proxmox. Selecting Restore from Backup on the onboarding screen of the WebGUI. The restore will silently fail (showing restore in progress but nothing happening).
Reason was that HA Supervisor version of the VM was lower than the rPi. Fixed by running ha supervisor update from the CLI. Would be nice with an error message telling you that the restore has indeed failed, and why.

What operating system image do you use?

generic-x86-64 (Generic UEFI capable x86-64 systems)

What version of Home Assistant Operating System is installed?

6.6.46HAOS

Did the problem occur after upgrading the Operating System?

No

Hardware details

Migrating from rPi 3b to Proxmox VM.

Steps to reproduce the issue

  1. Backup current HAOS
  2. Restore on a system running a lower version of the HA Supervisor
