Allow users to set their major

It'd be super cool if Hotseat could tell you if a class would satisfy a degree requirement for you, kinda like DARS with a better interface.

The first step to this is allowing users to put in their majors and minors. Majors are listed here, minors here.

We'll want to scrape all of this data and store it in a new majors table. Users should be able to select their major from a dropdown in settings.

it would be cool if a user could upload their DARS and Hotseat could parse it and extract the relevant information (it would be very transparent that Hotseat wouldn't store personal information, Hotseat is open source etc. etc)
