There is some initial permalinks documentation in progress here #443 related to Altis modifying the default WP behaviour.

We should expand on what permalinks are as well as how to work with rewrites more generally.

Document extended custom post types / taxonomies rewrite features
Document adding rewrite tags
Document adding custom rewrite rules
Document adding rewrite endpoints
