I am a hydrologist interested in developing and running an instance of the ParFlow model for the entire Snake River Basin to answer science questions about how modeled hydrologic response depends on the quality of the forcing data. I would like to leverage the outcomes of the CONUS scale ParFlow model and, therefore, would like to clip out a subset of those model inputs upstream of USGS gage 13334300, run it with the inputs Maxwell et al., 2015 on INL's Lemhi machine and bring back outputs to my campus.

Then, I want to use a region-specific WRF-based forcing dataset that my research group has developed for the Snake River, regrid and reformat it for for the ParFlow Snake River domain, and re-run the same ParFlow model configuration as my previous run.

I then want to bring these simulation outputs back to my campus for analysis to understand how the change in forcings impacted my ParFlow outputs, compare to observational data (streamflow, soil moisture, snow water equivalent in the domain) to see if it made a difference and how, and then prepare a poster or manuscript summarizing results.
