Same for me. Interestingly enough, "crossorigin.me not working" was one of the Google autocomplete suggestions.

You can use http://crossorigin.herokuapp.com/

It loads stuff, but I can't seem to get around the CORS problem.

For example, http://crossorigin.herokuapp.com/https://codepen.io/trusktr/debug/EoVGge, but then the console still says it can't load audio due to CORS.

Darn CORS, get out of here, no one wants you!!!!!!!!!!

The data center crossorigin.me is hosted on went down, sadly. I'm currently trying to figure out if I need to find a different host or not. (I'd really like to avoid Digital Ocean because it's so expensive, and heroku is risky because the proxy kinda breaks their ToS)

What about Linode? Just host your own site for $5 per month.

Nodechef.com is super easy too ("node" in the general sense, they host various types of apps not just Node.js apps), if you don't need very custom infrastructure.

The service needs a couple gigabytes of RAM at the scale it's at, so unfortunately it's a little out of my budget to run on most server hosting services.

Ah that is the issue ram! That is on the order of hundreds per month on azure / cloud service.

@technoboy10 If you still interested in maintaining the project, I believe I could arrange free hosting for it. Just let me know.
