player data error when loading a singleplayer world #1673

Every time I try to load a world or make a world it gets to 100% and then tells me 'Invalid player data' before booting me to the multiplayer server list. i am using no other mods i just was trying to install my first mod and this happened (I am using fabric with the correct version for the mod.)
