Hi,
I made a short tutorial for an easy start with itowns. It's made in markdown and exported as a website using [email protected].

We could also use another style with Jekyll.

It would be good to add a link to it on itowns-project.org so beginners could jump onboard easily.

Fwiw, there's a typo in "quick start" (emphasis mine):

try to update you browser

Also “developper” → “developer”.
