could you explain what exactly has to be changed to use your code on the newest version of the sdk?

The data format is different, and it is slightly easier to get the 3D point cloud. If you are using a board with SDK 3.5, then use this other repository instead:
https://github.com/ibaiGorordo/AWR1843-Read-Data-Python-MMWAVE-SDK-3-

hello @ibaiGorordo , I'm using AWR1642 with mmWave SDK 3.5, can i use the same code as in the other repository (AWR1843)?
my question is about the difference between boards, not the SDK version. Thank you
