Import CSV doesn't seem to create assets #19
Comments
Hi could you please share the csv file? |
Please share csv file I also want to check |
Hey, I'm now experiencing this, where importing a .csv doesn't create anything new. It basically does notthing. I do recieve the debug: "CSV file has been imported.". I added my .csv below. I do have both languages set correctly and working in the editor, just importing doesn't seem to work. Tried withoud "ä" or "ö" too. |
@ZayNepz Thanks for the example data. Which Unity version do you use? |
I'm on the latest 2022 LTS version. I may have figured the issue but haven't gotten to try it it yet. When I export the .csv from unity, every sentense/cell/word/(what ever is seperated with commas (,), has quatation marks around it, like "Lobby", "Lobby in other language", ... etc. But when I then import the .csv to Google Sheets or any other calc app I have, it then removes the quatations. So when I export it from Sheets, the data goes: Lobby, Lobby in other languages, etc. I don't know if this is the reason, but the only differense I could think now. |
I tried it now and this was the issue. When importing the .csv to some software, then exporting it from there, the quatations have been removed and it doesn't work after that. |
Hi - I exported the CSV then added some extra keys then reuploaded. But it doesn't seem to create any new assets from the CSV.
