Servers such as Akkoma and and Mastodon forks such as Hometown support local-only visibility. Few clients support showing this visibility or authoring posts with it.

Allowing this visibility level for authoring posts, and displaying it in the TUI, would be a welcome feature.

It's already supported in tooi, which is a work-in-progress replacement for toot tui.

Note: with Hometown, with clients that don't support local-only, you can still make a post local-only by including the :local_only: emojo.
