Hi,

I'm about to release a new version of directories with some breaking changes. I wanted to patch this project because it is easy but unfortunately I'm getting a lot of unrelated errors. I guess the library is missing some upper bounds as it has not been updated for a while. I don't know all the libraries you are using and I don't have the time to fix everything (I tried but it was not as easy as I hoped).

I'm then asking if you'd like fix your code to work with latest versions of the various dependencies so I can make the PR to be compatible with the next directories version?
