On the web bulk uploader, when an observation has no location, but a previous one does, we show the location of the previous photo as a starting point on the location picker. Folks in feedback have requested for this functionality in iNat Next.

  • If a user is inside the multiple photos uploader AND an observation has no location AND the previous observation (meaning, the observation directly before it, in order of how the user grouped them on group photos) did have a location associated with it, THEN when a user taps "add location," please start with the crosshairs aligned with the same lat/long as the previous observation's location.
