It can be confusing when date-like sequences are removed from file names #524

Some of my documents have sequences that are mistaken for dates in the file name. This is confusing, especially in the inbox, when the file names don't match what I expect.

We should explore ways of avoiding this confusion. Possible ideas include:

  • only detecting dates in a user selected format
  • only selecting dates in the archives
  • showing the date portion in the name, but in a secondary color
  • showing the filename as part the path
