There is a slicer pane that can be interacted with even though there is no capabilities to re-slice a model or even get information regard in the current layer height etc. If the slicer pane is going to be present, it should get the information about the currently selected model and show relevant information about the slicing.

If there is a slicer installed in the printer, the slicer should offer the possibility to change layer height and re-slice, possibly also changing print temperature.

There is an interface for octoprint that can get information about installed slicers.
As a quick fix on the current status, here is a proposition:

  • Get a list of slicers from OctoPrint.
  • List all registered slicers in the slicer pane.
  • Profit.
