[bug]: Grey Screen, Localhost GUI never loads

What happened

I installed the program, everything went smoothy during install (The GUI basically did everything for me) but when I launched, Invoke said it was running but the screen it opened was just grey and never loaded.

I expected it to launch normally.

I'm not sure

Please help me. This seems to happen with every program that uses localhost. No VPN, no firewall, no proxies that I know of.

In the top right corner of the launcher, it says Running at http://127.0.0.1:9090. Click that link. Does it work?

No, it's the same grey screen but in the browser or it fails to connect at all.

It sounds like something in your system is interfering, especially given you have similar issues with other apps that run a local server.

Things to try:

• restart
• create a new user account and try installing and running invoke on that account
• make sure windows is updated
• check windows event viewer, maybe there is a clue in there
