What happened

In-place install by pointing to the ae.safetensors folder does not work. got Model install error.
Tried installing using starter models ae.safetensors. Cannot install. Got the HF token requirement.
Put in HF token. Still, cannot download.
Use Local Path to ae.safetensors. Does not work. got Model install error.

About to give up using Invoke 5.15

What you expected to happen

flux ae.safetensors should be very easy to install as it is mandatory to run flux.
this really turns me down

I suspect your HF token isn't set up correctly. Try creating a new one on HF, making sure it has read permissions, then update it in Invoke and try again.

Same. Although I created the token with default settings and added it to the HF tab
