This task is meant to extend Catalog’s functionality beyond its role as the master inventory of IOOS datasets and data access services, divided into two major areas:

Perform service validation tests for data access services included in data provider metadata: calculating/reporting compliance scores using IOOS Compliance Checker (likely CF, ACDD, IOOS checkers) within the Catalog/CKAN environment.

Similar to the Compliance Reporting task, investigate the feasibility of performing routine monitoring of dataset access service uptime to assess service health.
