The confirmation time of a new milestone has greatly increased with staking. Here I noticed that strong nodes (e.g. Hetzner CPX31 vs CPX41) the calculation does not bring greater time advantages. This is particularly evident in the case of a database reset. The VPS takes about 2.5 seconds for a milestone. However, the CPU utilization is only 15%. Perhaps it is possible to allocate more power to the process (analogy with Spammer) depending on the hardware.
