Description:

With OpenVPN, there are certain situations where the app remains on "connecting" for a long time (e.g. it happens to me very often when changing ports while connected), if the user tries to kill the connection, i.e. disconnect with the toggle, the app will keep trying to connect automatically indefinitely.

Expected result:

The user should be able to disconnect when the app is on "connecting" state.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Install version 2.6.3 or 2.7.0.
  2. Login.
  3. Select OpenVPN.
  4. Try to trigger a situation where the app remains on "connecting" state for a long period (switch servers or ports while connected).
  5. When the app is on "connecting" state, attempt to disconnect by tapping on the connection toggle.
  6. Observe that the app will attempt to connect again (this indefinitely)

Environment:

IVPN: 2.6.3
Devices: iPhone XR iOS 16.2
