My sound card has one stereo input and one stereo output.
Now, I have been using Waveform and it only sees my hardware inputs and outputs, and I need more channels.
Is it possible to create virtual additional ports with jack2 and fool Waveform into thinking that I have more ports?
After some research, it seems it might be possible in Windows by means of a certain JackRouter.ini file. Is there an equivalent to that file in Linux? Is it possible to do any sorcery with the .asoundrc file to achieve that? I mean, it's just software, so why not?
