feature request: save sorted playlist back to Spotify

Hey! This is a really awesome tool!
I assume it should be possible to save the sorted playlist back to my Spotify library, no? Or would I need to create a new playlist with the new sorted tracks?

Hi @klokie, definitely possible – shouldn't be too much work, but you never know with these things.

Were you imagining something like:

1. A button at the bottom of the playlist that saves the playlist as a new playlist?
2. The new playlist have the same name but with the sorted options in the title?

I'd say option 1 would be the best, but ideally overwriting the contents of the unsorted playlist with the sorted list.

Just discovered this and it is such a great tool and this issue could be an awesome feature.

What do you think I contribute with a PR which enables users to select tracks to add to a new or a current playlist? This could help users create a new playlist for upcoming sets, based on BPM, Key, Camelot etc.

Hi @nerioslamaj, absolutely open to a PR – sounds like a good feature, but haven't had a whole lot of time for this project.

As there is no way to undo sorting a playlist to its original order, maybe its best we default to creating a new playlist with the sorted tracks and we can overwrite the original playlists order if an extra toggle is checked?
I'm thinking it might be helpful to additionally put the sort options in the description or title of the playlist.
