feature request: save sorted playlist back to Spotify #6
Comments
Hi @klokie, definitely possible – shouldn't be too much work, but you never know with these things. Were you imagining something like:

Haha so true. |
Just discovered this and it is such a great tool and this issue could be an awesome feature. What do you think I contribute with a PR which enables users to select tracks to add to a new or a current playlist? This could help users create a new playlist for upcoming sets, based on BPM, Key, Camelot etc. |
Hi @nerioslamaj, absolutely open to a PR – sounds like a good feature, but haven't had a whole lot of time for this project. As there is no way to undo sorting a playlist to its original order, maybe its best we default to creating a new playlist with the sorted tracks and we can overwrite the original playlists order if an extra toggle is checked? Let me know if you run into any issues during setup, happy to help out. |
Hey! This is a really awesome tool!
I assume it should be possible to save the sorted playlist back to my Spotify library, no? Or would I need to create a new playlist with the new sorted tracks?
Thanks so much for making this!
