Retrieving asset from wrapped segwit btc address beginning with 3

I am having trouble getting access to an asset I have on a wrapped segwit addy (starting with 3)... I have the priv key to it but when I import to freewallet it imports legacy addy (starts with 1) and no asset there

Recently JPJA has an OP_Return builder for addresses starting with a 3 here: https://jpja.github.io/Electrum-Counterparty/
please get into contact with him for more questions about it as it seems experimental at the moment

Also Jdog mentioned recently in the Counterparty TG chat:
"I believe that 3 addresses should work fine on CP (on protocol level).... not sure if freewallet supports signing those addressees yet... I dont think so... but AFAIK that is just a limitation in freewallet, CP can generate the txs... just need to get wallet to sign them"
