While playing back music, I was trying to add additional songs to my current play queue. I wanted to interrupt the built queue to play a specific song next instead of what was originally set to play next.
In the album view, I opened the sub-menu by clicking the ellipses and selected "Play Next."
In reviewing my play queue, I saw it added the song to the end of the queue-not the behavior that was expected. I repeated this again and got the same result.
To test out the other feature, I opened the sub-menu on a song by clicking the ellipses and selected "Add to Queue." This function put the song as the next track to be played-the function I originally desired.
I believe that the function trigger of these UI menu items is reversed.

I did some additional exploring and it appears that this behavior is actually happening during remote-control operations, only. The menu functions provide the expected behavior while working directly in the android app, playing back music on that android phone. Every variation of remote control I tested produced the above behavior. This may actually be a Jellyfin server issue.
I tested:
Android app controlling LGWebOS client
Chrome controlling Windows Jellyfin Media Player Client.
Windows Jellyfin Media Client controlling Chrome
Windows Jellyfin Media Client controlling Android app.

Known issue when casting due to an upstream bug in Jellyfin Web. I think it's the same/similar issue as the one that causes the first track of an album/playlist to always be played regardless of which track was selected.
