For the source files in markdown the generated parent and child links are not - as expected - at the bottom of the page. They are between first and second title.
By the way: As for markdown input files no shortdesc is available I expect on the page where the child links are generated no shortdesc text can be provided as for DITA XML files:
@ritti Both of these issues depend on the way you reference the Markdown topics in your map file.
If the @format attribute is markdown, subheadings create nested topics and the first paragraph is treated as body text
If the @format attribute is mdita, subheadings create sections and the first paragraph is treated as a short description
If you switch to the mdita format, related links should appear at the end of the topic, and the first paragraph should be picked up as the short description.
I have a ditamap that contains 3 files - one parent and 2 children. Two files are in markdown, one is in DITA XML.
Command:
dita-ot-3.4\bin\dita --input=Test.ditamap --output=out\markdown --format=markdown_github --args.rellinks=all

Attached are the source files and the output.
