Suggestion

Description -

  • The current Awards page (content/awards.html.haml) https://www.jenkins.io/awards/ lacks a modern and visually appealing design. As one of the most important pages on the Jenkins website, it showcases Jenkins' achievements and milestones. However, the current design does not effectively highlight these accomplishments, and the user experience could be significantly improved.

Proposed Changes :

-I have made the following updates to the Awards page to modernize its design and improve its visual appeal by achieving this :

Note:

I would like to hear feedback from the maintainers on this and understand their perspective .

Hi @biru-codeastromer I think your new designs may have deviated too much from the style typical of the jenkins.io website. So my personal opinion is to object to the changes.

@krisstern Please take a look now. If you believe this is not necessary, let me know whether I should close this issue or wait for additional feedback from the maintainers.

For the record I am one of the maintainers as well, but this is not just about one person's opinions, and should be a community effort. Let's wait until more people weigh in.

I think @janfaracik and @zbynek may have a better idea where we would like to go with these.

Thank you . I completely agree that a community-driven approach is ideal. I'll wait to hear from you and others too to better understand the direction we should take and the overall feedback on this.

Looks good, maybe the images should be in a separate column so that they consume less space? Probably better to discuss the details once there is a PR for this.

Hi Kris, do you believe I should raise the PR to continue the discussion there for this ? Or should I wait more before proceedings?
Let me know your views too!
Thanks!
