I would like to see a feature added for searching, similar to the web site functions of "Find People" and generic "Search."

Echo this. There is an incredible amount of fun stuff that could be done with saved searches that could be easily piped anywhere.

My current time is pretty limited, but if you'd like to code something up I'd be very happy to add it.

@jgoerzen Yea, it would be awesome to have streaming API from twitter in twidge. Hope you could find some time soon. If my Haskell skills were good enought I could give it a try.
