- Dump the skin files from the Green Menu by using the MIB2-Toolbox
- Put the SD-card with the dumps in your computer.
- Extract the images.mcf from your Skin folder, using the extract-mcf.py tool
- Find the graphics you want to replace. The number of this image is different for each skin and firmware version!
- Check if the original background graphics are 384x384. If this is not the case, you need to resize the graphics. See the table below for the right resolutions for each image/firmware type
- Replace the background, seconds/minutes/hours hand graphics (see the table below which graphic is which number on which firmware) by the graphics shown up here
- Repack the images.mcf by using the compress-mcf.py tool
- Put the new images.mcf on the SD-card, in the right folder.
- Install it by using the Green Menu toolbox.
- Enjoy
In this table you will find the right ID for each of the graphics. It could be your graphic needs resizing for your specific firmware. See the correct resolution down here. Note: G13 = MIB2.5 (9.2" screen), G11 = MIB2 (8" screen). G11 has lower resolutions.
