Overview

Our program acts as an enabler to entrepreneurship for women around the world, and provides young women in the U.S. with alternative role models in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

The Silicon Valley Internship Program (SVIP) is a 10-week long program based in California, U.S.A, consisting of:

An exciting internship with a technology company in Silicon Valley.

Programming and classes on entrepreneurship, covering topics such as company formation, product development, customer, acquisition, fundraising, team dynamics, and more.

Participation in a Mentorship Program, in which you will be paired with two young students (ages 11-15) enrolled in school in the Bay Area. The Mentorship Program will involve fun and educational activities and events intended to inspire an appreciation for STEM.

Visits to leading spots in Silicon Valley, such as NASA, Stanford University, Singularity University, Sand Hill Road, Autodesk, San Francisco, TechShop and more.

Participants will be provided with housing and a stipend for meals and transportation during their stay.

We also have two local ambassadors who will also be available as resources for you in California during the program.

Our Silicon Valley Internship Program, in conjunction with our Mentorship Program, addresses both of these needs by brining female role models from other countries to Silicon Valley for a 10-week summer internship and entrepreneurship program, and then matches these women leaders with young female students in the U.S.

We believe this furthers our goals of empowering women everywhere, and advancing the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.
