Screen sharing shows black screen #15522
Comments
Thank you for the report! We are aware of this issue and we are working on fix. |
@Calinteodor Thanks for your response. Is there any ETA for this so that I can communicate the same with my team? I'd be happy to help in any way if there is a possibility to get this fixed faster. Thanks again! |
Unfortunately, no. We did some fixes, but there is still work to be done. We are open to any contribution, thanks! |
@Calinteodor Sorry, for a bit more trouble, will this be possible to direct me towards those commits, or PR l will see if I can fix this? |
You can use our sample app for testing This is where media projection service is launched from And we also did some fixes around native notifications. Good luck! |
This has been happening for me as well, but rejoining always resolves the issue. It's not a showstopper, but it does happen a lot. |
Are there any updates on this? |
No updates yet. |
@saghul I really want to work on this issue. Will you please guide me |
What happened?
Screen sharing does not work properly on Android devices. Specifically, when one Android user shares their screen, other users only see a black screen. Similarly, when a user shares their screen from the web app, the shared screen is not visible to Android users.
But while trying sharing the screen multiple times it works some time.
