Meetings tend to take longer than their scheduled time slot.
Sometimes, this happens because the attendees aren't aware of how the clock advanced during the meeting.
This results in "damn, the time is over"-situations where things like "when to schedule the follow-up meeting?" can't be discussed any more because people need to switch to their next appointment.
Therefore, some form of pre-warning and alarm could help to remind the attendees of the upcoming thirty minutes or full hour event.
What solution would you like to see?
I want to have the option of enabling some form of decent notification (sound or/and visual) so that I or all attendees of a meeting get notified briefly that the half-hour or full-hour is reached (alarm) or almost reached (pre-warning).
It would be helpful if the organizer of the meeting is able to enable that for all participants.
This alarm should remind the participants at :00 (full hour) and :30 (half hour) of each hour so that participants are reminded that the meeting is over and some participants need to leave for their follow-up meetings.
Furthermore, a pre-warning would be very helpful for the original issue so that participants are able to clarify on the most important things before the end of the meeting is reached. Therefore, it needs an optional pre-warning alarm x minutes before :00 and :30.
Is there an alternative?
I can not think of any alternative than to let meetings run into the described problem without noticing.
