Regarding java GUI caveats

I used this wrapper with success some years ago, creating both Windows and Mac plugins. In both cases, I had no trouble creating a GUi for the plugin, running just fine inside my preferred DAW; Reaper. Therefore, I do not fully grasp what you are trying to state. Could you elaborate?

Moreover, it would be good to upgrade the Java version to a much later version. Do you want me to try that? I would probably need "some" attention from you. Let me know.
