I use Spring Data Rest JPA over spring boot.

Probably need create repository and entity classes.
Repo can looks like:

Entity:
@SuppressWarnings("DefaultAnnotationParam") @Entity public class ClaimReason { @Id @Column(name = "id_cat", nullable = false) private Integer reasonId; }
Then, create controller, but mark it not with @RestController but with @RepositoryRestController
Then, create any web method that returns observable/single and call it. In my case exception appears. If I use @RestController, everything works ok.

Got the same problem only for io.reactive.Single return type when using the netflix-core library. I've created a pull request which fixing the issue.
