Hello everybody, the application fails to launch on SteamOS after an update to 0.9.14-beta this morning. Started it from terminal and I get this error message: finamp: symbol lookup error: finamp: undefined symbol: g_once_init_enter_pointer.

I do not know how to downgrade and just wanted to report the issue so it can be fixed . Thank you very much for the great work you are all doing.

Cheers.

I am having the same issue and also getting the same error. I am running on a 13" Framework with a Ryzen 5 7640U, using Fedora 41, and Gnome 47 as the DE.

For now you can downgrade the Finamp flatpak to the previous version so that at least it works with this command:

flatpak update --commit=673d2f9445685f71e732900d9bd7c24d3533c7fd2a547ab50f7e257363a6c90c com.unicornsonlsd.finamp

And for the curious you find that commit hash by running this command:

flatpak remote-info --log flathub com.unicornsonlsd.finamp

That worked. Thank you very much.

Same error on 0.9.14-beta KDE Plasma 6.3.2, Fedora 41 (Kinoite).

Downgraded to 0.9.12 for now via the above method 😅

Same problem on Nobara 40. Downgrading fixed it. FYI for those of you that want to avoid having to manually skip Discover or other app stores reminding you to update this, you can temporarily disable updates to this package via flatpak mask but don't forget to undo it when a fixed version is released. ;)
