I don't have an immediate solution how to address the death of py-radix, but perhaps this alternative project https://github.com/lamehost/aggregate-prefixes from my friend @lamehost helps you with whatever prefix aggregation task you have at hand?

Didn't tried. I went with aggregate-prefixes for now since it suited my needs.
