I'd recommend to use GitHub projects for the following README content:

Goals
easy to port
light weight
full features
easy to use
Status
works for arduino framework on ESP32, reading

single raw values
raw values in bulk
swipe across channels
Todo
make it a lib for arduino and platformio,

You could create 2 projects:

  • Project
  • Features

Project

  • Goals
    • Easy To Port
    • Light Weight
    • Fully Featured
    • Easy To Use
  • Milestones

Features

Create 2 columns:

  • Todo
    • Package Arduino Library
    • Package PlatformIO Library
  • Implemented
    • Reads Single Raw Values
    • Swipes Across Channels
    • Reads Raw Values In Bulk

I'm suggesting that you use the 'projects' feature from GitHub.

It can be found in one of the tabs at the top of your repository overview.

There are two different types of projects, new & classic, for my suggestion I'd recommend using the classic kind.

For what? Sorting and filtering the only issue I have now in that repo?

For what?

  • To tidy things up
  • Projects are made for this

Thanks. I‘ll reconsider when there actually is a need, not just because.

But I‘d be interested how or why you picked this repo for spending your time?

In this case I searched for Arduino related
projects that had recently been updated.

As my contributions are mostly documentation
related, In don't really have a set preference
for the topics I search for.

Of course I go for ones that interest me in some shape or form.

When I format documenation I usually choose
repositories where it isn't too late.

That is ones with READMEs that stretch on for double
digits or have horrible contribution guidelines.
