Hello,

I am currently developing a software for a certain client. Its my first project, so I was very nervous about the technical aspects of the project. However, throughout the developing and implementation, I realized any technical difficulties could be solved through a google search, or with consistent debugging. The real problem showed up when dealing with the clients and the numerous employees. I believe I was in communication with at least 12 different people. On top of that, only a 2 or 3 were knowledgeable about the IT procedures. There were lots of delays, unnecessary meetings, and unproductive time being spent and the project ran longer than it should have.

When working with big groups that may not be technically sound, what is the best way of managing the client team? Are there any helpful tips or tricks that you could share based on your past experience? Anything would help to avoid such a predicament in future.

Thank you very much.
