Yeah its hardcoded in docs/sources/conf.py:

It would alternatively also be possible to overwrite the html title, see https://stackoverflow.com/a/62182881. That would be simpler. (I think I'd prefer the simpler solution. My experience with such mechanisms in general that try to retrieve the current version number from somewhere, was that they were rather brittle, i.e., they stopped working when refactoring, worked locally but not in CI etc, that's why)
