@collinstocks, though I haven't used touch support yet, I just wanted to let you know I appreciate you producing a fix. this removes a barrier for me in adopting this plugin.

I think some people are still having issues with iOS touch support. Unfortunately, I don't have an iOS device to test this on. I also didn't end up using this plugin, so I'm not continuing work on this fix, but if you'd like to take it from here, feel free to do so.

It is still an issue on iPad 2 iOS 8. Using jquery-sortable.js v0.9.13 which should include the above fix.
