New feature request

Hi,
I've come across an opportunity to improve Joomla's flexibility.

Being able to have a more granular control on what is rendered in articles (via the menu for that article's options) would be a big plus point as far as I am concerned. This is particularly so where websites have ever increasingly complcated 'mega menu' systems with a vast array of categories and articles. It's ok if there's only a few articles to deal with, but what if there are thousands? Or, what if the articles are submitted by many outside authors who do not have authority/or knowledge to adjust the menu settings for the articles.
