"[null-ls] failed to attach buffer 1" safe to ignore?

I use null-ls and solargraph for Ruby development, when I open a directory i.e.

nvim .

And then open a Ruby file (via Telescope), there is no warning from null-ls. However, if I open a file directly:

nvim ruby_file.rb

Then null-ls shows a warning:

[WARN  Fri Oct 21 19:25:08 2022] ...te/pack/packer/start/null-ls.nvim/lua/null-ls/client.lua:133: failed to attach buffer 1

Even though the log says failed to attach buffer, diagnostic via null-ls seems to be working.

Is this log normal and can be ignored? Because every time it appears I have to press Enter to turn it off.

This may be coming from another plugin.. If you run :ls!, what is buffer 1?

That's weird, then I have no idea. Try opening an issue and see if you can replicate it with the minimal config we provide in the issue template.

I had this error whenever I opened any file in Neovim after installing null-ls, but it went away when I commented out cmd('syntax enable') in my options.lua file. Not sure if it was a bug or intended behavior, but, as far as I can tell, everything is working fine now, minus the error.
