I don't know if it is specific to French language but I have often seen \SI{1.5}{\hour} typeset 1\,h\,30 rather than 1.5\,h. Do you think this, with required backend euclidean divisions, could be possible with siunitx?

Here in Germany (and, I believe, internationally) I am much more familiar with the form 1:30 h.
