Help regarding beehive sound volume/frequency

Hi Josh,

I just came across your blog, are you still developing your beehive monitoring system?

I've created something similar that uses LoRa to transmit hive data a few miles to my house. I'm currently recording weight, UV, Lux, external temp/humidity and the same internally on four hives (sensors are Bluetooth and transmit values as part of their advertisement so super low power and very low EMI.

I'd like to try and do something with sound now, would you mind sharing how you managed to analyse the sound on an esp32? I'd like to process volume and frequency locally and transmit results back via LoRa.
