Hi,

I can see there is a great amount of effort going in to creating this docker image which is amazing. I am no docker expert and am struggling with this myself due to lack of time. My suggestion if you are interested is for you to work with me and collaborate as part of the LinuxGSM dev team, to create an official docker image that works and can be officially supported and have official documentation etc; as part of the LinuxGSM project. I know there are so many people who want a decent official docker image and I think your project may achieve that. Please drop me an email [email protected] or catch me on discord when im about so we can chat.

Hi Daniel,

I would love to collaborate and help create an official docker image. I've been using docker for a couple years now and I've been loving trying to get this image off the ground.

I'm in the discord group so if you want to start coordinating I suspect it'll allow for easier discussion.

I'll see if I can find some time this weekend and see if I can document places where I took shortcuts that we could potentially find a better solution for, and things that I think are missing.

I look forward to working with you guys :)

Thats great news. I am around in the evening GMT this weekend so we can discuss what we can do to get things of going. Maybe you can give me a run down of how exactly this works as I sort of get docker but not how to apply it to real world usage 😳. I have just migrated the documentation to a new platform and once we are happy I can link to docker documentation from the main site.
