Chat unavailability while plugin is active #28

Describe the bug

I have a server on paper 1.21.4 that is turned into offline mode. With this plugin, on my server I get Chat validation error every time anyone sends anything to the chat

Environment details

CoordinateOffset version: 4.0.8
Version: Paper version 1.21.4-110-main@c44f891 (2025-01-14T11:13:21Z) (Implementing API version 1.21.4-R0.1-SNAPSHOT)

There is no actual errors in logs, that is how it looks in minecraft:

Steps to reproduce

Just install that plugin to Paper MC server (haven't tested it on other cores) and turn online-mode off

This plugin shouldn't change anything involving chat validation. With no other changes, can you remove the plugin and restart the server to see if the issue still happens?

Maybe it does something (I haven't seen the code, sorry) with packets that involve that chat issue?

Looks like this is a packetevents issue, so you'll have to wait for a fix from them: retrooper/packetevents#1086
