For song or FM bank debug purposes. Is something like this possible?

Without a doubt, it's possible, it just needs to think how to integrate this functionality.

Right now, left mouse button opens the help screen, it's a same thing as F1. So, it can be like in hoot (FM music player), where clicking on a piano corresponding to the channel mutes it.

Or a keyboard shortcut - Ctrl + 0...F mutes a channel accordingly.

Channels are now clickable in the latest.
The pianos are not greyed out. This would take a little rework of texture caching.
