It takes 5 to 10 seconds for the music to stop when I try to pause it

Describe the bug
When I play music for a while and want to pause it using the button or space key, it takes 5 to 10 seconds for the music to stop. Afterwards, it is fast again, so it only happens when I've been running the player a while in the background. This is bad, because when I receive a call, I cannot stop the music instantly but need to wait those seconds.

To Reproduce
Play music for a while, like an hour, try to pause.
